The following illustrations emerge from an ongoing dialogue with Sool's poetry collection "Autopilot ." Each piece captures the artefact and the liminal space depicted in the poetry, the threshold where memory becomes emblematic.

The first piece, 'Those Who Set Foot Here Shall be Lost,' explores the key spaces depicted in the poetry such as 'The Hammer Room,' 'The Forest,' and 'The Swimming Pool' in one unified composition. The surreal endlessness invites viewers to navigate being lost once entered, reminiscing the moment that cannot be relived, lost itself.

The second piece ‘Where Am I Being Led‘ encapsulates how 'The Hammer' becomes more than a mere mechanical tool, its burning force capable of potentially destroying a form as well as building a new one. The piece is titled in the manner of 'Hua du' to engage the reader in reflecting on autonomy.

These visual responses don't merely illustrate the poetry; they extend the conversation, creating a reciprocal artistic exchange that transcends linguistic boundaries. Created in collaboration with Sool's "Autopilot" (2025), these works represent the intersection where visual art and poetry converse across expressive domains.
